1972 Mini 1000 - History
Originally a New Zealand Mini 1000 in British Racing Green. In 2011 MiniTec did the Honda B16 VTec engine swap and other upgrades: Wilwood front disc brakes, Zeemax body kit, Sparco Strada steering wheel, 4 point roll bar, rear coil-over subframe.
Upgrades since 2014: Green dingle balls in windshield & green engine bling. HID headlights & LED fog lights, Clear Ultra Jewel rear light lenses, Custom ceramic coated exhaust header, Dash of Colour custom dash with Speedhut custom gauges, Recaro Classic LX seats, Custom door & boot lid upholstery, Custom homemade centre console, Specialist Components three piece wheels, green union jack vinyl roof wrap, four QA1 coil-over shocks, Mk4 steering column & shroud, 2-speed wiper motor & column switch, under dash footwell lights.
Stereo: Kenwood AM/FM/CD receiver, under dash speaker pods w/ 5.25” & rear deck 6x9” Focal 3-way speakers, Alpine 300 watt amp with 10” JL Audio subwoofer in custom Mini Cooper boot box.
